Greeting
I have loved fabric more than anything since I was a little girl.
The figure of my grandmother who sewed sitting in the veranda-like porch is always my foundation to create.
Beginning of creating three dimensions was after my kids were born.
I wanted to raise them with alternative toys, such as warm-hearted toys.
Hygienic and safety is the most important assumption for me.
The glint in my children’s eye and satisfaction gave me huge energy to create new work.
In 1989, I have contributed the toys which my children had used to play with as “Fabric goodies” to a contest.
The toys have got the highest award, and that gave me chance and energy to create more and more.
Creation brings me a lot of chance to meet a lot of people. Meeting new people is always exciting and nice.

Fabrics are words for me.
I think creators have given a passport to enter inside of human mind.
I always try to keep this passport with me and develop myself.

What's AVACHI?
Avachi is the name of my studio where is my creative activities and communication space.
Avachi was my nickname in childhood. It means “ me “ in baby talk.
